Mr Vishwas Patel is the Joint Managing Director at Infibeam Avenues Limited ("IAL" or "Company"), and Founder & CEO of the Company's Payments business.

Mr. Vishwas Patel is the founder of the payment gateway brand, CCAvenue, founded in the year 2001. CCAvenue is among the top 3 online payment gateway platforms in India and also ranks number 2 in the UAE among non-bank private digital payment companies. CCAvenue was recently honored with the Economic Times Best BFSI Brands 2021 Accolade and has been selected second year in a row as among India's renowned and most trusted brands by Superbrands India.

Under his leadership IAL has developed a full stack payments portfolio covering Payments Acquiring, Payments Issuance, Domestic and International Remittance and Assisted Commerce in financial services. He has also expanded payments business in international markets covering UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and the USA, and plans to expand in multiple geographies in the coming years to make the payments business global.

Mr. Patel has studied law and was a practicing counsel on the original side of the Bombay High Court.

Mr. Vishwas Patel has made significant contribution towards shaping and giving direction to the digital payments industry for nearly two decades in India.

He is currently the Chairman of the Payments Council of India, the primary industry body representing all the digital payments providers in India. PCI works closely with the regulators i.e. Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Finance Ministry and any similar government, departments, bodies or Institution to make 'India a less cash society'. He also serves as a member in various RBI committees to deepen digital payments in India.

In recognition of his path-breaking accomplishments and stellar contributions as an industry leader in the Indian Fintech sector over the past two decades, he has been conferred many awards; Entrepreneur of the Year in Service Business - SaS & IT at the Entrepreneur Awards 2020, Intellectual Explorer Award 2020, Payments Entrepreneur of the Year accolade at the Payments & Cards Awards 2019, Asia Pacific Information Security Leadership Achievements Award 2007.

A Management Graduate with an additional PGD in Computer Management, Vivek is the Chief Operating Officer at Infibeam Avenues. Prior to joining Infibeam Avenues, Vivek has had thirteen years of experience working in critical operational and decision making positions in the areas of business development, brand management for India's leading brands during his stint in the Indian subsidiaries of some of the top global companies including WPP Group, Draft FCB and Grey Worldwide.

Vivek manages functions related to Operations, Brand Development, Corporate Communications, Customer Support and HR. His past experience in strategic business development and corporate planning has proven invaluable in determining divisional strategy, setting up of operational and performance goals that are tailored to each division and in allocating requisite resources among divisions. He also oversees the HR function and works on strategies to build human core competencies that are in line with organizational values.

Vivek is a popular speaker at various forums and is an ardent evangelist on eCommerce. He is a prolific writer and his articles on the industry have appeared in many business publications.

Ankit is the Chief Technology Officer of Infibeam Avenues. He manages the company's technology infrastructure, with staff and resources in India. His all-round experience in every aspect of the business and his good analytical skills has proved invaluable in the company's quest to attain perfection in various demanding business driven models. Ankit has a successful track record of IT leadership of almost 15 years with broad experience across infrastructure operations, network management, process development, application development/deployment, database management, website operations, developing - structural designs to optimize software operations, booking engines, fares management systems and other external connectivity solutions. He is responsible for web service delivery and software development lifecycle and selecting the right technology tools for all the cutting edge solutions developed by Infibeam Avenues.

Ankit was earlier the 'Project Manager' at Infibeam Avenues, whereby he successfully architected the EventAvenue solution, which is today, one of the fastest growing event management solution in the Indian Sub continent. Ankit is an MBA in Finance from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) and has done an Advanced Diploma in Web Development and Database management from SSI.

Smita serves as the Chief Risk Officer, leading and managing the Legal, Risk and Regulatory affairs of Infibeam Avenues and its three international subsidiary companies. She advises the Infibeam Avenues executive team, and the operations and marketing team on a variety of issues and maintains the company's relationships with external legal counsel. Under her, the Infibeam Avenues Legal Department has played a leading role in corporate communications, corporate compliance and intellectual property strategy. Smita is responsible for ensuring that the work processes related to legal issues, documentation, risk management and recovery are in place and running smoothly. Her past legal experience has proven invaluable in her achievement of the highest standards in risk mitigation and recovery management. Her key responsibilities include continued improvement of the work processes involving legal documentation processes, risk management and to evolve path breaking risk management tools which will help reduce the company risk profile even further.

Prior to joining Infibeam Avenues, Smita served as counsel for nine years with designated Senior Counsel P.K. Dhakephalkar in Bombay High Court, focusing on corporate finance, securities law compliance, and general corporate counseling. She has received a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of Mumbai, a LLB degree and an LL.M. in Consumer Protection Law and Hindu Law from the University Of Mumbai. Smita is a member of the Bar Council Of Maharashtra and Goa and the Advocates Association of Western India.
